The triolgy completed

Typically, when an artist to celebrate a birthday, they sum up their career. Jan Eggum has also chosen to highlight his anniversary – in this case 60 – a summary – but not in the usual way.

Earlier this year came the first two cd-s of Kjærlighet & Ærlighet-trilogy out, with great reviews and two A-listings on Norwegian National Radio, NRK P1. Now the third and final disc in the project Kjærlighet & Ærlighet is here – the last 20 songs, this time recorded live.

The project is complete: 60 years – 60 tracks.

Jan Eggum’s third album in his 2011-trilogy consists of songs that have never been on disc before. Raw material is taken from year-long productions, from the first tunes from 1969 and 1973, the final text in October 2011. Everything is recorded live with orchestra at different stages, ranging from 50 to 1400 people in the audience.

Jan Eggum’s third record of his 2011 trilogy, "Kjærlighet & Ærlighet" consists of songs that have never been released before, where the raw material is taken from many years of production – from the first tunes from 1969 and 1973 to the latest texts in October 2011. Everything is recorded live with orchestra at different stages, with both 50 to 1400 people in the audience.

And Jan Eggum Band is then a broad concept, In this case, it can be anything from Eggum alone with guitar to Eggum with a full symphony orchestra (BFO in Bergen). In between there are Voksene Herrers orchestra, Mads Grønner w / band and Knut Reiersrud and his friends.

Ballads with partly moving content, raw pop-rock with the erotic touch, politically engaged songs and melancholy, almost symphonic music. In short, a cross section of Jan Eggum as a composer and writer, singer and musician, from conscious moralistic "Satans Sang" (1973) to strongly self-critical "Åh alder".

20 songs seen from all angles of life.
