The Grammy nominated artist is one of our best blues guitarists and delivers a musical craft in the elite division. With him on the team, he has a handful of world class musicians: blues authority Kid Andersen as engineer and bassist, the leading blues harmonica player Richard Gjems, piano sensation Øyvind Stole Mountains and the wonderful Marty Dodson on drums. In addition, Gary Smith on harmonica and Rusty Zinn on vocals.

To get the right setting for this project and to really be able to convey the traditional blues music, the Jacobsen and the company took advantage of the Kid Andersen analog Grease Country Studio in San Jose, California. This has made the song material very well and the great atmosphere in the studio to touch and feel. Ronnie Jacobsen and the other musicians on the San Jose Sessions shows a unique understanding of the dynamics of traditional blues and they perform the songs with respect and credibility and help to make the traditional blues more relevant than ever.
