The Norwegian National Anthem – re-composed

Reza Aghamir has revisited the Norwegian National Anthem – a tune that was written in 1864 – with the air of 2016. Displaying different values in both Nordraak’s melody and Bjørnson’s lyrics, this arrangement is indeed a re-composition. The Norwegian Radio Orchestra and Reza e iRagazzi were invited to perform this at the 25th jubilee of the coronation of King Harald and Queen Sonja on January 17th 2016 – televised to the entire nation. This is available on an 300pieces exclusive limited edition 12′ EP – each cover screen printed and hand made.
