Kåre Nybakk looks back – and forward

Kåre Nybakk has written over 30 professional full-length performances in genres stand-up, cabaret, storytelling theater, musicals and performances for children. Among others Shabana Rehman, Jon Schau, Zahid Ali and girls from Tramteatret. In 2011 he released the album: “En blå flanellograf"
Now he releases a new album; "Passasjeren".

Musically is Kåre Nybakk’s heart in the acoustic with lines in both Swedish and Irish folk tradition.
With instruments like acoustic guitar, violin, contrabass and piano.

The album’s theme is the whirlwind – the boy starting school in the 60s. A school with many rules and where everyone should be equal. Gradually, the whirlwind muted. Heroes and input is determined by a comprehensive school and a belief that interprets the Bible literally. He gets a feeling of being a passenger in life. In adulthood the feeling of being a passenger comes back. Time goes faster and faster, it is again difficult to determine where the train should go.
