Julie Dahle Aagård – Lauvet

Julie Dahle Aagård release her new album – and this time in her own dialect. Her previous album was Norwegian Grammy Nominated in Female Artist of the year 2009.

It’s still hoarse and jazzy, but the music is now more influenced by roots, fado and folk. All text and music is newly composed by Julie herself, and the result is a good distance away from what often is associated with music from her home region Trøndelag. She’s joined by some fantastic musicians who have colored this wonderful album with her: Anders Aarum, Erik Holm, Bjørnsholm, Kjetil Steensnæs, Geir Sundstøl and David Wallumrød.
