Drum ‘n’ Bach

All roads lead to Bach. At least for Ingrid Bjørnov. She has played Bach since she was seven years old, and has always stomped her feet with the beat along the way. Always felt that a lot of good pop music was hidden between the note lines. This is a playful interpretation of twelve well-known and lesser known themes by Johann Sebastian Bach. Some are shortened, others extended and some has been given a change of key. Almost all the tracks have drums, but no lyrics. One track has Hohner Clavinet because it was impossible not to. All of them are recorded on the ninety years old Bechstein grand piano in Kongshavn Studio. Ole Petter Hansen Chylie has supplied with large and smaller drums, and assorted percussion.
