Da Capo presents some of the highlights from Jan Eggum´s career and summarizes 15 years of his time as a solo artist, to the delight of old and new Eggum fans. Eggum had more than enough song material to choose from for his second compilation album. Since his debut as a solo artist in 1975, and with 8 previous releases, he had steadily supplied the Norwegian people with classics. From Eggum´s comprehensive production, 12 are featured on Da Capo, of which 5 are new recordings. With him are talentful musicians such as Bugge Wesseltoft and Edvard Askeland. Songs like "En natt forbi", "Mor jeg vil tilbake", "De ville begrave en konge stor", "Utenfor", and "Toya" are all peaks in Eggum´s career and are representative of the breadth and quality that is typical of all his releases.
