Saturday Nite Live is a great live album, for once with an audiophile experience included. The product differs greatly from the many blues releases: låtvalget is varied and built around the songs, not shuffle. Not least, the musicians so skilled that they let the songs and the singer have the space they deserve. This is a plate for adults, with a focus on quality, with no desire to shock the world with various break in style, provocative guitar parts or medioker produced lo-fi sound.
Rare music experience
This is Greasy Gravy’s first release, recorded live in Skedsmo Blues Club / Culture Pub. The recording captures the intimate and relaxed atmosphere and gives us a musical experience of the very rare with goodies such as "Is not Gonna Be the first to Cry," "Hitman" and "Get Out of My Bed". Vocalist Tom Erik Holm Lund polished voice is unique in the Norwegian context and harmonize perfectly with Espen Liland style guitar playing safe. The other band members are also known as virtuosos on their instruments: Iver O. Erstad on organ and piano, Rune Endal on bass and Jon Reidar Furulund on drums. In addition, the hired blow the series for the right sound for Greasy Gravy music.

The music of Greasy Gravy is beautiful and elegant and creates musicians a tremendous release that embraces distinct musical traditions from the 1960s’ soul and the band themselves call for 1950s-era "Big City Blues". Greasy Gravy takes also inspiration from contemporary music, and together make this a rare wonderful publication that will never go out of date.
