ORBO & The Longshots brings you true rock’n’roll!
Rock’n’roll Is Not Lost
ORBO & The Longshots is not only among the top live bands in Norway, but also one of the top recording artists in the country. The combination of writing, performing and recording original songs was recently described by Rick Rubin as a "lost art form", when talking about Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers as "the last rock’n’rollers". But rock’n’roll is not lost. And as long as there are bands like ORBO & The Longshots around, it never will be.
Recordings in the USA
Their second album, Genuine Handmade Rock’n’Roll, was recorded in legendary Sun Studio, Memphis, Tennessee and their first release, Seven, in Compass Sound Studio, Nashville, Tennessee. High Roller was recorded in another music city, this time Seattle, Washington. But ORBO & The Longshots have no intention of stopping there. The band’s ambitious "pilgrim-project" is to record their albums in all the big music capitols of the world. To become one with the roots of their music and to develope the genre by combining tradition and fresh blood. ORBO & The Longshots mean business and they have come to stay. To rock and roll in years to come.
