Gjermund Larsen (fiddle) was the youngest winner in history of the elite Category A in the National Contest for Traditional Music in 2002. In 2005 he was awarded the King’s Trophy for his fiddle playing. He often performs as a soloist with choirs and orchestras, and has composed a number of commissioned works for Norwegian festivals. In 2005 he was awarded the King’s Trophy for his fiddle playing. He often performs as a soloist with choirs and orchestras, and has composed a number of commissioned works for Norwegian festivals. Gjermund’s close collaboration with Trondheimsolistene (The Trondheim Soloists) has resulted in, among other things, a Grammy nomination for the record In Folk Style.

Andreas Utnem (piano/harmonium) has played on records by Trygve Seim (ECM), Ole Paus and Bjørn Klakegg. He is in great demand as a theatre composer, and is employed as a musician by the Church City Mission in Oslo.

Sondre Meisfjord (double bass) studied jazz at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He was awarded a Spellemannspris (Norwegian Grammy) in 2002 as a member of the group Come Shine. He has also played with Kari Bremnes and Åsmund Nordstoga.
