Wicks returned to Oslo as a professor of violin in the 1970. During the two years she taught at the then newly formed Norwegian Academy of Music, she formed a strong attachment to the musical community of the country through concerts and master classes. Many of today’s most prominent Norwegian violinists, Henning Kraggerud and Stefan Barratt-Due, are among her former students.
