Friland

Based on folk music from Trysil and the border thereabouts Anne Grete Lunner began in 2011 to create music inspired by ancient archival recordings. This music is strongly related with the Swedish tradional music and therefore she wanted to use fragments from border music combined with newly written Swedish lyrics. Together with Harald Skullerud and Tov Ramstad she began to shape the songs. Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. The Swedish singer-songwriter Karin Renberg joined the project and the same did Stefan Sundstrøm – and slowly but surely Friland was a made.
