Join Sigmund Groven on his musical journey through the world, with songs that draw inspiration both from the Norwegian mountains and fjords, and from the rhythmic pulse of Spain!
Highlights
Other highlights include virtuoso versions of old favorites such as "Granada" and "Begin the Beguin". In addition we find an arrangement of one of Beethoven’s most beautiful melodies where Groven is accompanied by his teacher and inspirer, Tommy Reilly. "Serenade" shows that the harmonica is also doing well in a distinctly classical context.
Respect for the repertoire
The repertoire is varied, but all bound together by Groven´s harmonica. He has brought in different musicians, depending on what each composition requires. Among the contributors we find Kjetil Bjerkestrand on synthesizer, Ivar Anton Waagaard on piano, Pål Thowsen on drums, Anna Vada on vocals, Iver Kleive on piano, Steinar Larsen on guitar and Bjørn Kjellemyr on bass.
