Children’s music spesialist goes solo Rasmus Rohde, the triple Norwegian Grammy Award winner in the category of children’s music with his “Rasmus og Verdens Beste Band” is finally out with a solo album! Rasmus has for many years toured and sung about relevant issues for children. He is also a critically acclaimed musician and playwright. For years he has written songs that he has not been able to use. Songs with humoristic everyday stories, personal and serious experiences, as well as political commentaries. A lot of the material grows out of concrete references to his hometown, Trondheim. Lyrically and musically it’s inspired by artists like Ole Paus, Cornelis Vreeswick and Alf Prøysen. As with his children’s music, Rasmus captures both the serious and the humoristic.
