Turid Kniejski graduated from the Bergen Music Conservatory on piano, but continued with harp studies in Denmark, England, Holland and USA. She was pianist of the Bergen Philharmonic Ochestra until she got the position of harpist in 1970. Kniejski has performed as soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in addition to being an active chamber musician. 2010
