Raoul Björkenheim (b. 1956) is a Finnish-American guitarist known mainly for his "eclectric" improvising in groups such as Krakatau, the Scorch Trio and most recently Blixt. Throughout his professional life he has maintained a keen interest in composing and contemporary music, appearing as a soloist with the Avanti! Chamber Orchestra, Tampere Philharmonic, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Helsinki Philharmonic, and has written scores for all four.
