Magne H. Draagen was appointed musical director of Oslo Cathedral Boys Choir in 2002. He graduated as an organist and musical director from the Norwegian Academy of Music in 1997 and subsequently completed a postgraduate diploma in organ performance. Draagen has since 2003 held the post of assistant organist at Oslo Cathedral. He has composed sacred works for various ensembles, including several for Oslo Cathedral Boys Choir; a number of his arrangements are featured on this recording.
