Anders Erik Røine

Anders Røine is a freelance musician who plays the Jew's harp, Hardanger fiddle, langeleik (Norwegian zither) and guitar. He studied folk music at Raulandsakademiet, and earned a degree in ethnomusicology from the University of Bergen. Røine has collaborated with musicians such as Marit Karlberg, Ingvill Marit Buen Granås, Bruvoll/Halvorsens orchestra, Sigrid Therese Moldestad, Camilla Granlien and Elisabeth Vatn, and has participated on CD releases such as Luring (Odd Nordstoga), Sudan Dudan and Jarnnetter (Camilla Granlien). Røine is a producer and one of the founders of the Talik record label. He received the King’s Trophy in the category for older folk musik instruments at the National Contest for Traditional Music in 1997.
