The animistic vocal tradition of the Joik has influenced the Sami musician since his childhood. Torgeir has spread Sámi art and culture to Thousands of children and youth in various education projects in Norway and Belgium. The Coastal Sámi artist is a cultural activist in the protection of wild salmon.
