Catherine Bullock (1976) studied violin and viola at Chethams School of Music and at the Royal Academy of Music. After working for the BBC for a brief period she moved to Oslo where she studied with Lars Anders Tomter. Bullock is now principal viola in the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. After working for the BBC for a brief period she moved to Oslo where she studied with Lars Anders Tomter. Bullock is now principal viola in the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. She also plays with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Ernst and the Oslo Sinfonietta, and is used as guest principal viola in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Bullock is also a very active chamber musician, and has participated in such festivals as Risør Chamber Music Festival and the Oslo Chamber Music Festival.
