\n\u00ab=Oslo\u00bb is for those who walk around in the streets trying to raise money to buy drugs. \u00abJonny p\u00e5 benken\u00bb (Jonny on the bench) is for the enthusiast who sacrificed himself for the soccer team despite the fact that he never had any talent. \u00abSpartacus\u00bb was the first worker’s sports club in Norway, founded in 1920. The team’s motto was \u00abnot as a profession, but in the classes interest\u00bb.
\nThe song \u00abNattas fl\u00f8yel blir til st\u00e5l\u00bb is a tribute to the dawn of the winter city, where people live behind the windows. There, they fall in love, as in \u00abFloriss\u00bb and \u00abSuzanne\u00bb, but it becomes complicated in \u00abJenta fra Arendal\u00bb (the girl from Arendal) and ends with a breakup in \u00abIkke skap deg mer n\u00e5\u00bb. The theft of the Munch paintings in august 2004 was an inspiration for writing and composing \u00abBalladen om Skrik og Madonna\u00bb (the ballad about Scream and Madonna).
\n\u00abLinda\u00bb is a story about the newborn Linda, which was thrown in the Aker river by her young mother, and represents a look back on the recent past when an unwanted child could be a disaster for a young factory girl.
\nThe history keeps rolling, and we are all \u00abSpor i sanden\u00bb (marks in the sand) that gradually disappear. All this while new children are born and fall asleep to \u00abKaris vuggesang\u00bb (Kari’s lullaby).<\/p>\n
