High Red, formerly known as The Douglas Group, are releasing their new album 13th of September. New name, new songs, new album and a new vision … Band members in High Red has extensive experience in the music industry, both in Norway and abroad, and consists of Adam Douglas, Iver Olav Erstad, Per \u00d8ystein Erstad and Jon Reidar Furulundsvei.<\/p>\n
The songs on the new album is a mix of self-produced songs and tunes the band has been fortunate to receive from very talented songwriters in their own networks. For instance, three songs from the talented Marc Broussard and a song from Nashville-based Gabe Dixon. The band has had the pleasure of working with the musician and producer Calvin Turner on this record. Turner has played with, among others, Raphael Saadiq, Joss Stone, Marc Broussard, The Temptations, Leann Rimes and Kenny Loggins, to name a few. Vocalist Adam Douglas, from Oklahoma, has with his amazing voice and outstanding guitar playing become a topic of conversation in the Norwegian music industry even before the release. This soul & funk-locomotive is sure to be a major talking point this fall when they appear on TV and on records in the thousands of homes!<\/p>\n
