Alexander Rybak releases a new Christmas Album; Christmas Tales<\/p>\n
For Alexander Rybak, it has been Christmas time since midsummer. This is when he started working on his new album \u00b4Christmas Tales\u00b4. Using American Christmas Carols as a background theme, Alexander has selected his all time favourites, giving them a personal twist. On his album \u00b4Visa vid vindens \u00e4ngar\u00b4 (2011), Alexander worked closely with producer Knut Bj\u00f8rnar Asphol. Asphol is also an important participant on this album, lending his special talent for rich details and inviting an amazing vocal- and brass group who adds a wonderful, rich palette to the album. Other guests are Didrik Solli-Tangen and Annsofi, who contribute on two different duets. The duet featuring Didrik is written by Alexander especially for this album. Christmas Tales is an album for the whole family, reminding us of the joy of being together during Christmas, singing and playing.<\/p>\n
This year, Alexander is a new and welcomed guest at our most traditional Christmas tour, Silent Night. The tour starts the 26th of November, and will be playing all over Norway.<\/p>\n

Alexander always has a lot going on, and parallel to the Christmas album in Norway he work and he plays all over Europe. During 2012 Alexander has held concerts in Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Belgium, Netherlands, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Denmark and Sweden.
\nIn Norway he has played sold out houses across the country along with local music schools, and had a great sucsess with this year’s summer show with Elisabeth Andreassen and Didrik Solli-Tangen.<\/p>\n
