Astri Rysstad, Kirsten Braten Berg and Kari Rolfsen were honored with the Folk Music Award 2007 in the class for "Documentation." The publication presents 366 stev, arranged according to the old mark days after priming rod. The selection is taken from a large time span in which the oldest ones are from the Middle Ages. Furthermore, we find newer tunes from the end of the 1700s as well as contributions from the 1920s and 1930s. The latest "stev"s are from the 1990s, written by the Norwegian poet Paal-Helge Haugen. The book is beautifully illustrated by Kari Rolfsen with fine portraits and non-figurative illustrations. The book also provides interesting information about the origins of the "stev". Author list, a source register and supplementary vocabulary testify that the project is above all meant as to be used: this is the words and music for everyday use!

[35

0":"post-730","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-heilo","7":"product_shipping_class-cddvd-shipping","8":"uni_artist_tag-anund-lyngtveit","9":"uni_artist_tag-birgit-lund","10":"uni_artist_tag-eli-kvaale","11":"uni_artist_tag-gro-heddi-brokke","12":"uni_artist_tag-hallvard-dale","13":"uni_artist_tag-hallvard-haugen","14":"uni_artist_tag-ingebjorg-vegestog","15":"uni_artist_tag-kirsten-braten-berg","16":"uni_artist_tag-liv-helga-brokke","17":"uni_artist_tag-olav-harstad","18":"uni_artist_tag-signe-helle","19":"uni_artist_tag-tarjei-brokke","20":"uni_artist_tag-torbjorg-aa-paus","21":"uni_artist_tag-torleiv-h-bjorgum","22":"uni_artist_tag-trad","23":"uni_main_artist_tag-kirsten-braten-berg","24":"uni_artist_genre-folk-music","25":"uni_artist_genre-lyric-poetry","26":"uni_artist_genre-norwegian","27":"uni_artist_genre-traditional","29":"first","30":"instock","31":"taxable","32":"shipping-taxable","33":"purchasable","34":"product-type-simple
["GET
