Both audiences and critics were enthusiastic about the release and Kirsten Br\u00e5ten Berg, Hallvard T. Bj\u00f8rgum and Eilert H\u00e6geland were nominated for a Spellemannpris (Norwegian Grammy Award) for the album. The interest for the release has remained, and in 2007 Juletid was re-released due to popular demand. The repertoire is wide: It mixes exciting arrangements of traditional Christmas songs with hymns, and folk tunes. The result is a worthy and festive release. Br\u00e5ten Berg performs some of the oldest sound material we know, both a cappella and accompanied by Bj\u00f8rgum on fiddle and H\u00e6geland on organ.
