It depicts the time and environment when it came out, reinforced by the city sounds added in between the songs. The release includes familiar songs like &quot;Far har fortalt&quot;, &quot;Nattestemning fra en by&quot; and &quot;Ravneferd&quot; \u2013 a song that Nilsen received as a gift from the legendary Roy Harper. One of the additional tracks is &quot;Svikefulle Mari&quot;, a Norwegian version of &quot;Whiskey in the jar&quot; that was often performed at concerts in the 60s and 70s. Tilbake was a special LP with all music and recitation originally recorded in one: one track on side 1 and one track on page 2. These were added as track marks on the CD version in 2003. The same year Tilbake was re-released, two of Nilsen&#8217;s other albums were reissued on CD: Portrait (1973) and Byen med det store hjertet (1975).
