Jan Eggum\u00b4s Debut Album<\/p>\n
Jan Eggum\u00b4s debut album received high acclaim when it was released. It was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy award (Spellemannprisen) and marked the beginning of a career that would prove to be long and rich. Eggum\u00b4s reflective lyrics and conceived melodies in songs like "Kj\u00e6re halvbror" and "De skulle begrave en konge stor" got attention in the Norwegian music industry who waited anxiously to see how the young artist would develop further \u2013 and they would not be disappointed. The album was recorded with Johnny Sareussen as a producer and featured a number of experienced musicians, including Trygve Thue who would later produce several of Eggum\u00b4s releases. In 1975, Jan Eggum also released his first song book, Ugress i ditt bed. Together with the debut album, this first publication was the first signs from a talented and versatile artist who would mark the Norwegian music scene in the years ahead.<\/p>\n
