Ridin’ on the Blinds is the trio Danko\/Fjeld\/Andersen’s second release together, and the album was quickly given the status as a classic. The super group collects the best of Norwegian and American music and welds it into a musical experience like no other. The American Roots genre, represented by guest artists such as Garth Hudson, is accompanied by Norwegian Folk tunes, performed by folk musicians Hallvard T. Bj\u00f8rgum, Kirsten Braten Berg and Tone Hulb\u00e6mo as well as Norwegian artists such as Knut Reiersrud, Lillebj\u00f8rn Nilsen, Bugge Wesseltoft and Rune Arnesen. The material is of skyhigh quality and proves that Danko\/Fjeld\/Andersen are not only talented musicians, but also skilled songwriters. The trio also perform lovely versions of well known and beloved classics such as Robbie Robertson’s "Twilight," Tom Paxton\u00b4s "Bottle of Wine" and Richard Thompson’s "Dimming Of The Day".
