Johanna&#8217;s last album in her own name in English was in 2011 (&#8220;Madness&#8221;), and since then, she has written music in her native language, Swedish, and worked with the Americana duo Trudy &amp; Dave, along with Alf Bretteville.<\/p>\n<p>Johanna has always said that she is not concerned with genre but with good music. That being said, she is often placed in the country-Americana genre, as the influences come from an American root expression. At the same time, she has a Swedish pop gene in her blood, having grown up among Swedish folk tunes and popular music.
