Ein dag te presents a collection of songs and lyrics that are imbued with the joy of storytelling, where deep solemnity and gloom and pure fun and pleasure throw each other into sharp relief. Whereas Ingen nåde was a shot from the hip, recorded in the course of a few intense weeks, Ein dag te has had a longer period to mature, and its musical and lyrical range is even broader. This time Renberg is looking ahead, behind and inwards. The album was recorded at Oslo Klang with technician and producer Bjarne Stensli. Guitarist Alexander Flotve is a carryover from the previous album, while all the other participating musicians are new: Olav Christer Rossebø, Erlend Viken, Øystein Frantzvåg, Gjermund Silset, Olaf Olsen, Erland Dahlen, Cato Thommasen, Morten Abel, Petra Renberg and Anne Lise Frøkedal.
