She was one of very few female hardanger fiddle players at the very top level in Norway in her time. Something that could definitely be a lonely situasjon, although that never stopped her. The release \u00abHardingfele\u00bb contains studio recordings from NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) from the years 1963-64, as well as recordings from competitions spanning the years 1963-70.
