In 1994, Wiik initiated a major fundraising in order to ensure that the older song traditions of the Nordhordland region should not be forgotten. A selection of this material has been included on Striles\u00f8lv, such as bridal tunes, lullabys, and burial hymns from Nordhordland. Wiik stands for the vocal performance and is joined by talented and experienced musicians: Iver Kleive, \u00d8yvind Lyslo, Einar Mj\u00f8lsnes, Laila Kolve, Edvard Askeland and Paolo Vinaccia.
