Panflute was chosen as a more primitive precursor to the church organ, a great match to \u00c5sne Sunnivas rich and distinctive tone quality and singing style.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5sne Sunniva S\u00f8reide was born in 1973 and raised in Gjerstad in Norway. With her grandmother as a mentor, she started her practice of \u00abkveding\u00bb (traditional norwegian song) at an early age.<br \/>\nThe panflutes on the record is played by Roar Engelberg from Romedal in Hedmark.
