In the 1970-80s, induvidual groups tried to do interaction forms. Today the experimentation is probably on return, but from a viewpoint of the documentation, the ensemble groups still belong to the folk-music. The music selection on this CD should is a good representative, picture on diversty of the music in Agder over the last four to five decades. NRK has made an excellent collection of great value for performers as well as researchers and audience.
