Nidaros Cathedral\u2019s Boys\u2019 Choir safeguards a 900-year-old tradition of boys choir in Nidarosdomen in Trondheim. After a few years\u2019 hiatus at the beginning of the 20th century, the choir was re-established in 1927 and has \u2013 under conductor Bj\u00f8rn Moe \u2013 secured its place as one of the leading boys choirs in Europe through extensive touring, performances in radio and TV, as well as several recordings. The choir sings everything from Gregorian music to newly composed music and has at least one performance of large-scale choir works with orchestra and soloists a year. Still, their performances of the classic Christmas songs are their greatest gift to us as listeners.<\/p>\n
