Lars Anders Tomter is one of today\u00b4s most exceptional violists and H\u00e5vard Gimse has firmly established himself as one of Norway\u00b4s leading musicians with an expansive repertoire. Together they perform sonatas \u2013 and in Vieuxtemps\u00b4 case, a capriccio and an el\u00e8gie \u2013 by the two game changing composers. <\/p>\n<p>The duo\u00b4s version of Franck\u00b4s \u201cSonata for Violin and Piano in A major\u201d, in Tomter\u00b4s own arrangement, is nothing less than extraordinary beautiful, while the sophisticated figurations in Vieuxtemps\u00b4 \u201cSonata in B flat major\u201d is well taken care of by the two exceptional instrumentalists.
