The album contains several songs that have become central in the Norwegian music tradition, such as &quot;Lillebror Per&quot; and &quot;De skulle begrave en konge stor&quot;. En sang fra vest presents Eggum alone with his guitar and this simple and pure sound gives extra attention to the artist&#8217;s beautiful and impressively insightful lyrics. The folk singer is young and engaged, and in possession of a distinctive look on people and everyday situations.
