Reaching the peak of his career at the beginning of the 1950s, when he made the legendary recordings of works by Mozart and Carl Nielsen, however he has also composed music, often inspired by typical country surroundings from his summer residence in Luchon in southern France. On this album, the clarinetist Hans Petter Bonden, the violist Lars Anders Tomter and pianist Einar Henning Smebye performs several of Cahuzac´s works. The composer´s set of variations is based on a French folk song, and in “Cantiléne”, a short lyrical composition, he has succeeded in capturing the rural atmosphere. In “Pastorale”, on the other hand, he is more preoccupied by a Mediterranean mood. “Arlequin” for solo clarinet, is a musical description of a clown, reflecting both joy and sadness. In addition to this, the three experienced musicians performs Mozart´s “Trio for clarinet, viola and piano, K 498”, or the “Kegelstatt”-trio, and Schubert´s “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen, D 965”, both overly beautiful pieces written for the clarinet.

Exceptionally beautiful pieces written for the clarinet performed by the remarkable trio of Hans Petter Bonden, Lars Anders Tomter and Einar Henning Smebye.

[180

0":"post-30479","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-simax-classics","7":"product_shipping_class-cddvd-shipping","8":"uni_artist_tag-einar-henning-smebye","9":"uni_artist_tag-franz-schubert","10":"uni_artist_tag-hans-petter-bonden","11":"uni_artist_tag-lars-anders-tomter","12":"uni_artist_tag-tore-simonsen","13":"uni_artist_tag-wolfgang-amadeus-mozart","14":"uni_main_artist_tag-hans-petter-bonden","15":"uni_artist_genre-chamber-music","17":"first","18":"instock","19":"taxable","20":"shipping-taxable","21":"purchasable","22":"product-type-simple
["GET
