Anders Jektvik believes that his new album \u00abSei det igj\u00e6n\u00bb is the best album he’s made so far. The music is a mix of storyteling and a metaphorical pessimistic optimism, with more challenging melodies and texts than before. Jektvik was raised in the musical spirit. He plays his guitar with unusal feeling and verve. Yet it’s his voice that is his foremost signature, where he sounds like a blend of Leonard Cohen and Chris Rea. His national breakthrough came when he took second place in the TV show Norske Talenter, in 2012.
\nMany got to se his humorous side when he release the song \u00abRampa (Colan her)\u00bb, where he impersonates a gig with \u00c5ge Aleksandersen. \u00c5ge shortly after this gave his response to this and released the song \u00abSangen om Rampa\u00bb on the digital release of his album \u00abSukker og salt\u00bb (2014).
