Hilde Louise Orchestra – Don’t Stay For Breakfast<\/p>\n
Hilde Louise Asbj\u00f8rnsen releases her 10th album. Together with the band behind the Christmas record \u00abRound About Christmas\u00bb, she spent 4 days in Ocean Sound Recordings and recorded 10 new songs from her own pen. The pop art icon Hariton Pushwagner has designed the striking cover art. The release is celebrated with a Pushwagner exhibition and release concert in her hometown Sykkylven, and a subsequent summer tour. <\/p>\n
With a smile, Louis Prima and Duke Ellington on her ear, and her own closely-swinging band in mind, Hilde Louise has written new songs about shoes, coffee and uninvited breakfast guests. As co-producer, she brought to the party, not other than Georg \u00abJojje\u00bb Wadenius. Otherwise Asbj\u00f8rnsen herself and pianist and arranger Anders Aarum also sat behind the controls during the process.<\/p>\n

The Orchestra: Anders Aarum \u2013 piano, Svein Erik Martinsen \u2013 guitar, Jens Fossum \u2013 bass, Hermund Nyg\u00e5rd \u2013 drums, K\u00e5re Nymark jr. – trumpet, Atle Nymo \u2013 saxophone, J\u00f8rgen Gjerde \u2013 trombone.<\/p>\n
The launch is first of all celebrated in Hilde Louises hometown Sykkylven. June 10th Hilde Louise opens the Pushwagner Exhibititon in the old Swiss Villa \u00abBerlihuset\u00bb, which has been in her father’s possession for 30 years. The day after Hilde Louise and her orchestra have their first concert at the youth house Vaarvon. In Oslo the release is celebrated at Parkteatret 12th of June, followed by a summer tour in southern and eastern Norway. Hilde Louise will continue touring this fall, and all dates will be announced over the summer. <\/p>\n
