We were quite close to loosing this tradition, however, thanks to the &quot;younger&quot; artists such as Per Midtstien and Steinar Ofsdal who reached out to the &quot;older generation&quot; of fiddlers, it has continued as a living tradition.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To quote the legendary sea flute fiddler Knut N.
