Popol Ace in symphony with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
Dreams come true
“Silently Loud” was originally released as a double DVD in 2004, but is now being released on both vinyl and CD, 15 years after the concerts took place. In this way, the audience will soon again be able to experience the musical highlights from this exciting production to one of the most original Norwegian bands of all time. The symphonic potential of the band’s compositions had been like an unrealized dream for many years, but here is the evidence that sometimes dreams come true. Carried out by Pete Knutsen’s beautiful arrangements with Frode Thingnæs as conductor, and Popol Ace’s beautiful music, the audience can enjoy this legendary concert in physical editions. Popol Ace is a Norwegian Grammy Award winning and Rockheim-incorporated progressive rock band that released four albums between 1972 – 1978. On “Silently Loud”, the band consist of Jahn Teigen (vocals), Pete Knutsen (guitar, keyboard and background vocals), Terje Methi (bass and background vocals) and Thor Andreassen (drums).
