In good team takes us on a journey through Sigmund Groven’s adventurous career. Double release came out on the occasion Groven 50-year anniversary and is a tribute to one of the world’s foremost harmonica players. The collection contains recordings from the 1970s until 1998 and is a heavenly piece of Norwegian music history. Much of the material in the collection has long been Norwegian cultural heritage and as the title indicates, Groven really good team on this release. An arsenal of the best artists contributing and doing fine on Groven, including Erik Bye, Robert Smith, Kirsten Braten Berg, Sissel, Oslo Gospel Choir, Frode Alnæs, Arve Tellefsen and Groven teacher and great role model, Tommy Reilly. Norwegian Musical Treasures
Much of the material on this collection has long been a part of Norwegian cultural heritage, including several classics such as the legendary "Så spiller vi harmonika". This is the first song Groven wrote, at the request from Erik Bye, who wrote the text. This was the beginning of a close cooperation and friendship between the two artists and together they have performed around the world. In addition, the release presents several previously unreleased recordings.
